The Rhodope Mountain village of Zaburdo will officially open its small zoo on August 15. This will be the zoo located at highest altitude in Bulgaria, radio Focus-Smolyan reported.
The exact altitude is 1500 m. Some of the animals that visitors will get the chance to observe include deer, boar and rabbit.
Official opening will take place on August 14 and 15 when Zaburdo celebrates its holiday.
