To honor Olympic biathlon champion Ekaterina Dafovska, the resort town of Chepelare is organizing Winter Olympic day, Standart daily reported.
The event will take place on February 9 in the birth town of the athlete. As a part of the celebration, the new four-seat lift of Chepelare sports center will take tourists to the ski tracks for free.
Chepelare will host another event on February 9 and 10. It will be the site of a round of the national alpine skiing championship. Over 60 competitors will take part in it.
