Wanderlust magazine published the Threatened Wonders 2010 list
from 18.01.2010 11:39       Author - Tourist Media
The British Wanderlust Travel Magazine announced its list of eight landmarks in the world that tourism activity will threaten in 2010.

According to Wanderlust, excessive tourist activities are ruining these sites.

Wadi Rum desert in Jordan ranks first. Three Bedouin tribes manage the territory, which is major problem.
The river city of Yangsho in China ranks second. The large number of visitors and the countless souvenir shops are its biggest problems.

The town of Maya Tulum in Mexico is threatened because of the construction of vacation properties.
Limitations should also be introduced on the number of people visiting Stonehenge. Otherwise, the biggest tourism mark in the region will be the gigantic parking lot.
