Russian golfer Ana Verchenova and Tommy King are winners in the fifth Mtel open golf championship that ended on September 13. The number of golfers who took part in the competition reached 140. They came from 25 countries.
Participants competed in two divisions. The championship involved professionals and amateur golfers had their separate division.
For the first time the open championship used two golf courses, BlackSeaRama and Lighthouse. The two divisions changed the course each day. Strong wind in the region of Balchik further increased the tension.
