Varna Airport will start servicing flights to three new destinations during summer season 2010, airport representatives reported.
The three destinations are Wroclaw (Poland), Bergamo (Italy) and Aarhus (Denmark). Currently 34 aviation companies have announced flight programs to Varna Airport in summer 2010.
Ural Airlines plans to open a regular line from Bulgaria’s Varna to Yekaterinburg, Russia. Flights will start on June 7 2010 and will take place on Mondays and Fridays.
British Airways will fly from Gatwick airport to Varna two times per week - on Tuesday and Thursday.
Wizz Air low cost aviation company is increasing the number of flights from Varna to Luton airport in London. The company will perform flights three times per week starting May 22 2010.
Varna Airport service regular flights to 16 destinations – Sofia, London, Vienna, Budapest, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Odessa, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Luxembourg, Oslo, Warsaw and Brussels.
