Over-construction and the small number of visitors this summer has led to the division of Sunny Beach resort in two separate zones, Sega daily reported.
The zone situated close to the sea shore maintains high prices. The western zone offer four times more inexpensive accommodation. A divisive line between the two zones has formed following the road to Varna.
Espresso costs two leva in the eastern zone and only 0.4 leva in the western. The ratio of prices of other goods sold in Sunny Beach is similar.
The western part of the resort also features a number of super markets that offer products at reasonable prices.
