Turkey registers a 7.26 percent increase in the visits of tourists from other countries in June in comparison to statistics for the same month of 2009, Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Turkey reported.
The overall count in June reached 3.5 million visitors.
Russians are the biggest group coming to Turkey. Their number reached 578 527 in June. German and UK visitors ranked second and third.
From January to June 2010, Turkey saw 10.687 million tourist visits, which represents a nine percent increase on an annual basis.
Anatalya is the most popular tourism destination in June, Istanbul ranks second. Mugla province, where Bordum is located ranks third.
