Cultural and ecological tourism are developing well in Triavna municipality, mayor Dragomir Nikolov told Focus news agency.
The summer season started well. Mostly Bulgarian tourists visit Triavna. Foreign groups come from Germany.
Tourists explore landmarks like Daskalova House, the old school and St. Archangel Michael church.
Triavna’s vicinities are also known for the numerous eco paths. These lead to Bozhentsi, Buzovets and Bulgarka nature park. Biking alleys have also been created.
Investors have started projects in some of the villages part of the municipality. Vacation villages and eco complexes are being set up. People have also shown interest in renovating old village houses. Some of the investors are foreigners.
