Foreign tourists show no interest in exploring cultural and historical landmark in the coastal city of Varna, Pozvanete newspaper reported.
Varna’s tourism information center announced that 20 percent of the 7000 foreign visitors in July asked for directions to Varna’s shopping malls.
Only eight percent of all visitors asked for information about Varna’s cultural events and 15 percent showed interest in the coastal city’s museums.
Bulgarian tourists looked mainly for attractions.
The dolphinarium in Varna is one of the most popular places preferred by both Bulgarian and foreign tourists.
