On May 3 a tourist discovered a landmine on the beach near the coastal city of Varna, Bulgarian Navy announced as quoted by Radio Focus-Varna.
The mine was found on the beach in front of Briz-2 hotel. Representatives of Varna’s Interior Ministry division safeguarded the area.
The landmine was destroyed by a specialized group for the discovery and disarmament of weapons and military equipment.
