Environment Minister Dzhevdet Chakurov issued an order for the creation of three new bird protection zones, burgasnews.com reported.
The three zones are Kotlenska Planina, Ropotamo Complex and Pomorie lake. All three are situated in the Bourgas region.
Kotlenska Planina protected area will feature a number of limitations among which bans on the usage of chemical fertilizers, on cutting down forests and on turning natural meadows into agriculture plots.
Additional limitations are envisioned for Ropotamo Complex. The natural water basins there cannot be modified.
Pomorie Lake protected area includes 1.233 km of sea zone. The construction of harbors, terminals, industrial buildings and wind electricity generators will be banned in this area.
