Three dead dolphins were discovered at Kavatsite beach near the coastal town of Sozopol and one was discovered in Bulgaria’s Pomorie, Radio Varna reported.

So far, 17 dead dolphins have been discovered in Bulgaria’s coastal region.

The regional environment and water affairs inspectorate is appealing for strict control over the activities of fishermen, who are often responsible for killing the marine mammals.
