Over 204 000 people visited the opening of World Expo 2010 Shanghai fair on May 1. Bulgaria is one of the participants in the tourism fair that will continue until October 31 2010.
Bulgaria’s participation is taking place under the slogan City of Shared Heritage. Bulgaria presents its ancient heritage and revival architecture.
The Bulgarian booth features two model streets and a square. Visitors can explore a replica of Lyutova house situated in the beautiful town of Koprivshtitsa. Thracian and Roman findings present the Bulgarian archaeological heritage. The golden mask of Thracian ruler Teres and the helmet of Seuthes III are some of the Bulgarian exhibits.
Organizers of Expo 2010 expects over 70 000 000 visitors to see the presenters by the end of the fair. Over 200 countries and international organizations are presenting themselves.
