The trans-border region Thasos-Garmen will be turned into an attractive tourist destination, Vyara Daily reported. The project is up to be started.
It will be funded by the program European Territorial Cooperation Greece-Bulgaria 2007-2013. The European fund will provide 85% of the sum. The other 15% will be covered by the national co-funding from Greece and Bulgaria.
The full sum of the project is 1 851 008 euros. The culture-historical heritage of the two municipalities is in the focus of the project.
