On 19th of August Triavna joined the company of Tokyo, Seoul and Dubai by marking a great number of different tourism sites in the city with the matrix QR bar code.
The idea for the project was developed by Petyo Petkov and realized with the help of the Museum “Triavna”. The project aims to promote the city and interesting objects in it - museums, hotels, restaurants and shops.
The technology was developed in 1994 in Japan and allows each user of mobile phone with camera to read the information for the places. The mainly advantage of the new system is the 24-hour access to brief information about the object that people receive. The innovative idea will be tested initially in Triavna as there already are predicted about 100 sites marking with QR bar codes.
