Romanians are the most numerous tourists in the coastal city of Varna. Romanians represents 33.7 percent all of the entire visitor figure registered from April to June 2010, Regional Statistic Bureau announced, as quoted by Dnevnik daily.
29 000 tourists from Germany visited Varna in the same period of the year, followed by large groups of Russians, Poles and Israelis.
The bureau registered 218 000 overnight stays by Germans. Tourists from Russia registered 190 000 and Romanians - 155 000 overnight stays.
From April to June 2010 Varna had 230 functioning hotels, 99 lodgings and 37 other places for short-term accommodation.
