Grown Apart

On July 14 Bulgaria will welcome world initiative The World Harmony Run. The initiative will pass through 20 Bulgarian cities and will cover 700 km.

The World Harmony Run will start from Bulgaria’s town of Blagoevgrad and will finish near Kamen Briag village. The next destination of the initiative will be Romania.

The Global Harmony Run promotes international friendship and goodwill. Participants in the initiative carry a flaming torch, which are passed from hand to hand.

Sri Chinmoy founded the World Harmony Run in 1987. In 2010 the United Nations Organization (UNO) and UNESCO support the initiative for the International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures.
