The Planetarium in Smolyan registered a large increase in the number of tourists in July 2011

With more than 200 people increased the number of tourists in the Planetarium in the Bulgarian town of Smolyan in July 2011 compared with same month of 2010. The total number of tourists who visited the Planetarium in July was 4200, Christina Kalaydjieva, the director said, Rodopski vesti daily reported.

Mainly Bulgarians visited the Planetarium, but foreign tourists from Russia, Greece, Italy and England are also interested in the attraction. Since the beginning of the year, 480 foreign tourists have visited it, which is 150 more than in 2010, Kalaydjieva added .

On August 25 will start the traditional camp-school for 20 students. One week they will deal with the observation of meteors, less studied, and meteor phenomena.
