The Libya’s citizens fight for their freedom, but the public disorder puts the country’s culture heritage in danger, travelweekly.co.uk reports.
A few weeks ago, the last UNESCO archeologists’ team working there was evacuated. The situation was under control during the first week of March and the five UNESCO culture heritages in Libya were in good condition.
However, there is a threat that puts the culture sites in danger, taking into consideration the vandalized Egypt culture sites.
The UNESCO heritage site includes five Libya’s culture heritages, some of which are an ancient Roman city, a Roman amphitheatre and a Hellenic city.
Historians and archeologists has nothing to do, except to wait hoping the heritage sites not to be vandalized.
