A church mass was held to mark the beginning of summer tourism 2009 in Belogradchik, radio Focus-Vidin reported.
Mayors of towns in the region, ambassadors and ministers attended the ceremony. The festive program included the performances of troupes from various settlements in the region.
The Vidin philharmonic orchestra performed in Magoura cave, an event that has already become traditional.
Belogradchik will provide free entry to all tourism sites on September 27 that is considered the world day of tourism.
