The state sold nearly 20 000 decares of agriculture land in the Black Sea region in 2008, which could be eventually used for construction plots, dnevnik.bg reported.
The prices of state-owned agricultural land have registered a decrease. Average prices remain below 12 000 leva per decare, which is nearly 50 percent cheaper than the price in 2007.
Plots in the regions of Kavarna and Aksakovo are most preferred. Over 16 000 decares have been sold there.
In Northwestern Bulgaria, the state has concluded deals for the insignificant price of 3000 leva per decare.
