Bulgarian capital Sofia registered 140 000 decrease in the number of nights spent in the hotels in 2010, compared to the number five years ago. Tourist Information Municipality Enterprise at Sofia municipality announced the data as quoted by Dnevnik daily.
Hotels in Sofia registered 1 117 000 million overnights in 2010. Foreign visitors stayed in hotels in Sofia 50 000 times less than five years ago and Bulgarians registered decrease 90 000 times in their stays.
Greek and German citizens presented the largest number of foreign guests in hotels in the Bulgarian capital.
