from 19.02.2009 11:39       Author - Tourist Media
Tourism conditions in the mountain regions are poor on February 19, Standart daily reported. Skiing and travel conditions are good only in the Rhodope Mountains.

Mountain Rescue Service warns that the new snowfall increases avalanche danger. Tourists should use the marked and processed mountain tracks only.

Snow is falling in the region of Vitosha. Snow coverage in the ski zone has reached 110 cm and the avalanche danger is great.

Bansko is also experiencing snowfall. The avalanche danger outside its ski tracks has reached four points on a five-point scale. Todorka and Tomba tracks are forbidden for usage.

High avalanche danger exists near Rila’s Markoudzhik 3 ski track. Ski tracks Sitniakovo 2, Iastrbets 3, Cherveno Zname and Martinovi Baraki 4 are closed.
