Russian tourists visited Bulgaria' s southern coastal region in 2010 increased 40.64 percent compared to 2009. The number of Israeli tourists increased considerably with 86.1 percent in comparison to 2009. The chairman of Bourgas Regional Tourist Chamber (BRTC) Ivan Ivanov announced the data as quoted by Radio Focus-Bourgas.
BRTC registers increase in visitors from Belarus (with 38.15 percent), Ukraine (34.98 percent), Poland (21.19 percent) and Czech Republic (5.82 percent).
Nessebar is the most visited town for 2010 in the region of Bourgas. Sozopol takes second place following by Pomorie, Primorsko and Tsarevo.
