Russia is on the verge of a new tourist crisis
from 21.07.2011 14:05       Author - Tourist Media
Tourism in Russia is facing a new crisis, Nezavisimaya Gazeta Daily reported. One of the main reasons about this is the civil unrest in Egypt.

It influenced countries such as Turkey to offer travel services at much lower prices. This in turn will have an impact on prices of Russian companies, which in result will fall much more.

There are also other countries, except Turkey, offering lower prices in tourism - Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Egypt, Croatia, Cyprus, Thailand and Montenegro, said The Executive Director of the Russian Association of Tour Operators Maya Lomidze.

Unlike the instability of Egypt, which contributed to the tourism crisis, strikes in Greece have caused much lower effect on the demand on the Russian tourist market.
