Rural tourism in Bulgaria develops better than popular types of tourism, pari.bg reported.
The positive attitude towards clients is one of rural tourism’s biggest assets, chairperson of the Bulgarian Association for Alternative Tourism Liubomir Popiordanov said.
Rural tourism will keep 2008 revenue and might even register better results.
Many Bulgarians are expected to travel inside the country during the weekends. Rhodope Mountain and Stara Planina villages have developed good rural tourism conditions.
At the same time, the European Commission has launched a survey concerning the expectation of tourists in terms of rural tourism. The survey is available at www.serv.celotajs.lv/qst/survey/customer.
