Over 170 Romanian touroperators attended the presentation of Bulgarian spa and winter resorts in Romania’s Bucharest, Pari newspaper reported.
On February 2, Bulgaria presented its spa and winter resorts in Romania. Bulgaria’s Economy, Energy and Tourism Ministry and Bulgarian Union of Balneology and Spa (BUBSPA) organized the presentation.
According to BUBSPA representatives, Romanian tourists are very interested in the tourism opportunities that Bulgaria offers. Spa resorts are very important for the local market, yet Romanian tourists know mainly Bulgaria’s summer and winter resorts.
BUBSPA chairperson Stefan Sharlopov and Romanian spa association chairperson Niko Radulescu signed an agreement for cooperation between Bulgaria and Romania in the spa, balneological and wellness spheres.
