The memorial house dedicated to Bulgarian revolutionary Raina Kniaginia in Panagyurishte will be renovated, radio Focus-Pazardzhik reported.
Panagyurishte municipality will provide 15 000 leva for the renovation works.
The birth house of the revolutionary was built in the 18th century. It turned into a museum in 1950. An overall renovation took place from 1979 to 1981.
Raina Kniaginia’s remains are still preserved there. Another valuable artifact preserved in the memorial house in the Panagyurishte revolutionary flag.
