A joint organization including state representatives and tourism sector representatives could become responsible for tourism marketing. The idea might be included in Bulgaria's tourism Law amendments.
The idea was announced by Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Ivo Marinov during the international tourism fair Vacation and SPA Expo 2010.
Marinov said that the new organization will be either an NGO or a commerce organization.
Bulgarian Association of Travel Agents (BATA) organized the summit between Marinov and representatives of tourism associations.
Bulgaria’s new Tourism Law has to be drafted by September 2010.
