The number of Russian trips has remained without a decrease only for Bulgaria of all EU countries, Bulgarian National Television reported.
The Bulgarian consulate in Moscow issued 20 percent more visas in the first half of 2009 in comparison to figures for the same period of 2008.
Russians owning property in Bulgaria caused the increase. Most of them apply for one year and three-year visas.
The number of visas issued in 2009 is 150 000 more than those for 2009, Bulgarian diplomat in Russia Nikolai Panaiotov said.
