Archeologists discovered over 7500 wall painting fragments from Kniazhevski Monastery, Pozvanete newspaper reported.
The monastery is situated in the area of Karaach Teke near Bulgaria’s Veliko Turnovo.
Archaeologists discovered parts of the garments of saints. A bronze cross was discovered, as well. Findings might prove that tsar Boris I was one of the church founders.
Excavation works in the area have been ongoing for the past 14 years.
