Over 10 000 tourists are having their vacation in the resort of Albena, Darik Radio reported.
By the end of June the number of visitors is expected to reach 15 000.
The decrease in booked accommodations is less than 10 percent in comparison to figures for the previous year.
Yet, hotel owners are concerned about July and August, since preliminary bookings are fewer than those for 2008.
Since the beginning of 2009, the number of German tourists has reached 48 000 and the number of Romanians and Russians is respectively 46 000 and 30 000.
