Bulgarian biathlete Ekaterina Dafovska will become a ski running instructor in the winter resort of Chepelare, radio Focus-Smolyan reported.
Ski running with the Olympic champion is the newest tourism attraction in Bulgaria’s Chepelare for winter season 2009/2010. Ekaterina Dafovska will instruct tourists every Saturday and Sunday. A specially prepared ski running track will be used.
Dafovska is Olympic gold winner from the 1998 winter games in Nagano.
Once they have been provided with the needed equipment, tourists will use the lift to Mechi Chal peak. A track starts there and has specially been set apart for the practice of ski running. Tourists will get the chance to take photos with Dafovska and to try their biathlon skills together with the champion.
