A number of the hotels in Pamporovo mountain resort remain closed, radio Focus-Smolyan reported quoting head of Pamporovo 21st century union Pantalei Memtsov.
The summer season is traditionally weaker for the ski resort, though attempts were made to promote year-round tourism opportunities.
Construction in the resort has also been taken down to a minimum.
Due to the financial crisis, investment in Pamporovo decreased significantly.
Currently, only finishing construction works of already launched projects are being carried out.
