No construction works are currently taking place in Vitosha park, national park manager Toma Belev told Bulgarian News Agency.
Destruction of nature landmarks took place in September and October 2008. Vitosha Ski, the concessionaire of facilities in the mountain, appealed three administrative orders that ban further destruction in the region.
The company plans to expand the ski zone, Belev said. Prosecution has been informed of its intentions but no ruling has been announced yet.
