from 15.06.2009 09:11       Author - Tourist Media
Archaeologists are researching a newly discovered Thracian tomb in the region of Kazanluk, Darik Radio reported.

This is the first tomb discovered in the Valley of Thracian Kings that dates back to the 3rd and 4th centuries BC. The period is mainly known for the upsurge that Thracian culture experienced.

The mound was discovered in a region that has undergone no previous research. It has a circular chamber made of granite blocks.

Despite the fact that the tomb was robbed back in time, archaeologists are hoping to discover some artifacts.
