Grown Apart

On July 17 in Bulgaria’s coastal town of Tsarevo saw the opening of a new Bulgarian-German Vocational Training Center (BGVTC) in the sphere of tourism.

Nearly 100 people will undergo courses in the new center. They can choose among 24 professional occupations like hotel owners, attendants, restaurant owners, chefs, animators, tourist guides.

BGVTC has 14 employed instructors, 10 working rooms, hotel part with 20 rooms.

The new center in Tsarevo will consult new companies, small and medium enterprises.

The project is part of a Bulgarian-German cooperation program in the area of professional education of adults.

Ministry of Labor and Social Policy in Bulgaria works on the project in cooperation with Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, GTZ, KfW Bankengruppe.

BGVTC Tsarevo is one of the vocational training centers in Bulgaria. Such centers exist in the towns of Pleven, Stara Zagora, Pazardzhik and Smolyan.
