Nearly 150 000 tourists from Israel will visit Bulgaria in 2010, Israeli ambassador in Bulgaria Noah Gal Gendler said.

On September 1 he visited the seaside town of Nessebar. The ambassador and Nessebar mayor Nikolai Dimitrov discussed tourism development and visits of Israeli tourists in the region.

About 500 000 Israeli tourists look for new travel destinations each year. The figure of 150 000 tourists coming to Bulgaria could even be doubled, Gendler said.
