The lift to Rila Lakes hut is already functioning, dnevnik.bg reported.
Environmental coalition For the Nature will address the Prosecution concerning the facility, which according to environmentalists is illegal. No ecological evaluation has been received and part of the lift is located over a landslide.
Part of the facility is situated in Rila national park.
Sapareva Banya municipality and Rila Sport company are owners of the facility and are working on a ski resort project in the region.
