Less Bulgarian tourists visited Bansko in winter season 2011/2012. Despite that hotel owners in the winter resort say that more tourists from Russia, UK, Turkey, Macedonia, Romania and Serbia choose to spend their winter vacation in Bansko.
Tourism business registers decrease in the number of Greeks too. According to them in addition to crisis in the country most of the Greek residents choose to stay in Greece because of the lower prices in the hotels there.
