The area around Kamchia may develop as a destination for eco and cycling tourism. The idea was discussed at the meeting between the Governor of Varna Yordan Simeonov and Hambalek Augustin, deputy governor of the autonomous region of Tyrnava in Slovakia.
They discussed possibilities for eco-projects between Bulgarian and Slovakia and have signed a cooperation agreement between the two areas.
One project is aimed to Kamchia, to become a destination for ecotourism. There is also an idea of creating a tourist cycling packets which are very popular in Slovakia. They are creating bicycle paths that connect certain points, usually natural or historical attractions reached by bicycle, this can be practice and in Kamchia.
It is already formed a working group, which will be responsible for implementation of the planned projects.
