Japanese investors design a geothermal plant in Sapareva Banya

Japanese investors Kihachiro Nishiura, president of the "Aqua Farm Limited" together with the Mayor of Sapareva Banya Sasho Ivanov founded a company to build a geothermal plant, " Struma " daily reported.

Municipality Sapareva Banya will provide land for the construction of the plant, but the Japanese company will finance its construction with over 3 million. The center will be built for less than three years and will supply local consumers with hot mineral water for balneology and spa treatments.

Geothermal power plant project is a pilot for Bulgaria and will attract many tourists from Japan and Asia, said Makoto Ito, the Japanese Ambassador for Bulgaria.

In the plant will take part and a Russian investor who will build a sanatorium, which will offer 70 procedures with mineral water, said Vencho Zlatanchev , a City Council President
