A group of angry Irish property investors have consulted Dublin lawyers concerning the start of a course trial against journalists who mislead investors to buy property, Independent daily reported.

Journalists are afraid that they might be brought under charges for misleading investors into buying real estate abroad, journalist Richard Compton Miller said.

According to Miller, articles recommending vacation properties are contentious.

Journalists visit destinations like Bulgaria and recommend it as a place, where holiday apartments can be bought. Currently, destinations like Bulgaria suffer from crisis and investors are feeling angry with journalists.

Investors are primarily responsible when selecting and properties and professional negligence can be proven with difficulty.
