The 16th edition of Plovdiv’s international folklore festival was officially launched, Darik Radio reported.
Over 300 dancers from nine countries will take part in the event. Visitors will get the chance to explore the traditional dances of Algeria, Russia, Poland, Greece, Ukraine and Georgia among others.
The festival will last five days. Concerts and events will be scheduled each fest day. Plovdiv’s ancient theater will host the event.
Plovdiv municipality is organizer of the fest.
