An international folk festival has started in the coastal city of Bourgas, burgasnews.com reported.
This is the 37th edition of the fest. This year, it is carried out under the slogan Let Us Protect Our Heritage.
Representatives of 11 countries, among which Italy, Latvia and Israel will take part in the event.
The summer theater will host the events. Bourgas municipality worked on the construction of several additional stages.
An award for the popularization of Bulgarian folklore will be handed for the 11th consecutive time.
