Nature-archeological preserve Iailata in the area of Kamen briag village will undergo fortification works by the end of the week, Troud newspaper reported.
The preserve suffered damage after an earthquake took place on August 5. The erosion process in the preserve has accelerated. Rocks have fallen down, others were cracked.
The arch of St. Pantaleimon church will be fortified as well. A project involving the overall renovation of the landmark will be executed afterwards.
Archaeological findings in the preserve date back to the late Antiquity.
