The International tourist fair “Holiday and Spa Expo 2011” was opened in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia by the Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Traicho Traikov.
More than 280 Bulgarian and international tourist companies took part in the fair this year. Tour operators, tour agents, regional and local tourist branch organizations were represented. Over 50 companies from Greece, Italy, Tunisia, Turkey and Germany and other countries showed their own products and services.
The fair is one of the most important international happenings in the sphere of tourism in Bulgaria. The event was held under the patronage of The Ministry of Economy, Energetics and Tourism together with the specialized branch organizations in tourism.
