Guest houses in Bulgaria to join Earth Hour initiative

Representatives of the Nature Tourism Union in Bulgaria will take part in the WWF Earth Hour initiative, Darik Radio reported.

The union brings together owners of guest houses and other investors in the sphere of tourism.

Guest houses and hotels in the region of Rousse will turn off their lights for an hour on March 28.

Owners said that they will support the campaign in order to show that they are trying to develop eco tourism practices and are working to counter global warming.

The initiative has also received the support of the nature park Roussenski Lom directorate.
