Germany will help Bulgaria in the introduction of the international quality standards developed by European Spas Association (ESPA).
The decision was announced after a meeting between Deputy Economy, Energy and Tourism Minister Iva Marinov and Parliamentary State Secretary Ernst Burgbacher.
Burgbacher said that he will cooperate in the process of making German health funds recognize expenditure made for spa and balneological treatment in Bulgaria.
A Bulgarian tourism marketing campaign in Germany also featured as a topic of discussion during the meeting between Bulgarian and German officials.
