German Technical Cooperation enterprise (GTZ) will provide funding for a five-year plan targeting Danube River tourism development.
Bulgarian Deputy Economy, Energy and Tourism Minister Ivo Marinov announced this information in interview for Monitor daily.
The project will be launched on February 22 during an international tourism fair in Belgrade, Serbia. GTZ will provide funding for the booths and presentations of European Danube cities.
According to Marinov, GTZ will finance Danube cities presentations for the tourism forum ITB Berlin in 2011.
